RDS Primary Science Fair 2017

Last week a group of Primary 7 children made the trip to Dublin to take part in the 2017 Primary Science Fair. Their topic about apples from the 'Orchard County' received a lot of attention and everyone involved had a fantastic day.

Thanks to Miss McGleenon who co-ordinated the project and also to the 12 boys and girls who made a great effort over the past few months in preparation for the day.

The judges were very impressed with all aspects of the entry, especially the link the children made with some local supermarkets.

A word of thanks also to the parents who despite the atrocious weather on the day had everyone at the school for their 6.30am start!!!
