Maths Week Ireland at St. Malachy's Primary School

The week began with the launch of our ‘Coin Collection Week'.  The children were asked to bring in any spare change, no matter how small.  The money was counted on Friday by children in the various classes and all the money raised went towards outdoor numeracy games.

Also on Friday the children had a non-uniform number day. Any jumper, t-shirt or jersey with a number on it could have been worn. These numbers were used in various class and whole school games. Other activities included, Who wants to be a Mathionaire? and Deal or No Deal. Fun and games was had by all and a big thanks to everyone who raised money for coin collection week.
