FANTASTIC DAY FOR ST. MALACHY'S AT CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL BLITZ

Management and staff of St. Malachy's Primary School Armagh would like to thank Seán Hart, Denis Hollywood and the committee of Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhacha for the brilliant blitz held on Friday 29^th January.  For the first time ever, every child in Primary 7 was able to wear their school colours and play football.  Under the direction of Mr. McKinney, Mr. Moore and Mrs. Mallon St. Malachy's fielded three teams, two boys' teams and a girls' team in this blitz with no subs and every child happy to be playing.  Eight schools were present at the Cathedral Road complex whilst other blitzes were held elsewhere throughout the county.  The games were refereed by students from St. Patrick's Grammar School and the blitz fully endorsed the Respect Initiative launched by Uachtarán Christy Cooney.
