St.Malachy's Primary School enjoy success in Armagh International Road Race.

Local running stars Dermot and Stephen Kerr were in St. Malachy�s Primary School this week to congratulate all children who participated in the Armagh international Road Race.

Two children from St. Malachy's picked up trophies,  a P5 came 8^th in the 1400m girls race, a race in which she can run next year and P4 came 1^st in the 400m boys race. Dermott Kerr who was racing in the Elite men�s 5km race finished with the time of 16:04 placing him 2^nd in the over 50�s category.

The staff and children of St. Malachy�s would like to take this opportunity to congratulate former pupil of St. Malachy�s Stephen Kerr, who has become the first runner from Armagh to win The Ulster School Boy�s Cross Country event in Mallusk. Stephen now goes on to represent Ulster in the Irish School Boy�s Cross Country Championship in Cork next week. Stephen also has been invited to represent Northern Ireland in the London mini marathon and we wish him every success in the future.
