St. Malachy's primary school visit the Northern Ireland Assembly
10th Jan 2012
The primary 7 children of St. Malachy's primary school had the chance to experience what life is like the Northern Assembly. The pupils received a full educational tour of Parliament buildings focusing on the roll and importance of citizenship. While in the main chamber the children took on the roll of MLAs as they debated in the need for a school uniform and got to vote in the voting corridors of the chamber. It was a magnificent learning experience and a wonderful day was had by all.
