St. Malachy's Primary School enjoys ‘Fighting Words' workshop

 Primary seven from St. Malachy's primary School were invited to the Northern Ireland Screening Writers' Workshop in the Mobile Cinema.      

The programme which was entitled ‘The Right to Write' focused on the theme of creative writing. Each workshop featured group work followed by individual writing time. The writing tutors were on hand to work with 2-3 students at a time, offering advice and encouragement along the way.

Each child got a finished copy of the class and individual stories (entitled ‘I was only Yolking') which were also published on the www.fightingwords.ie website.
