St. Malachy's celebrate World Book Day

Children from St. Malachy's celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 6th March by dressing up as their favourite character from their favourite book. Classic Characters such as Mrs Trunchbull, Alice in Wonderland and Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ were some of the many characters in fancy dress. Other children in the school tuned into The Biggest Book Show on Earth, exclusive online festival of children's authors, were they listened to authors read extracts of their work throughout the day and picked up a few tips on how to improve their writing.
