St. Malachy's make links with school in Australia

Children at St. Malachy’s P.S. have made links with Mary Mc Killop primary school in Brisbane Australia. As part of the new curriculum children have been learning about life and different culture in others countries. Mr Devlin a primary two parent made a DVD recording of daily life at St. Malachy’s P.S. and also recorded the children partaking in the new Ulster Council initiative, ‘Developing Fundamental Skills’ which is presently being implemented by Carol Mc Quade. The Ulster council is currently using aspects of the DVD on their web site to highlight good practice ant the benefits of ‘Developing Fundamental Skills’ in key stage one.
