P7 Confirmation Assembly

As part of primary seven’s preparation for their upcoming Confirmation they prepared and led a whole school assembly on Monday 27^th April. The pupils discussed what they had learnt about the Sacrament, the first Confirmation that took place on Pentecost and the relevance of their own Confirmation taking place on Pentecost Sunday 31^st May.

During the assembly two pupils played out the role of the Cardinal and that of the candidate. The Cardinal was suitably dressed in red and white robes and had the privilege of wearing a skull cap belonging to the late Cardinal Tomas O’ Fiach. The skull cap was kindly loaned by Francis Hagan Sacristan of Drumcree Parish.
