F1 Primary School Challenge

Pictured are Primary 6 who are participating in the Formula 1 Primary School Challenge.

The challenge engages with primary schools students and teachers across the UK in the same way as the Secondary School Challenge. The challenge is open to students aged 5-11 years old and involves designing and manufacturing the fastest car possible emulating the design and engineering processes employed by real engineering companies, such as Jaguar Cars.

Jaguar understands the need to encourage and motivate young people to develop key skills needed for companies such as Jaguar to be successful in producing award winning vehicles.

P6 have designed their own models and are pictured at the first manufacturing stage, watch this space to see how they get on.
